This month I rebuilt my pricing from zero: real packages with real numbers, an à la carte list, and an hourly rate I set at $50 — with a plan to raise it as my client list grows. Then I backed it all up with paperwork: client agreements, a liability form, a confidentiality agreement, and a proper terms of service on my website.
Why it matters: when your prices live only in your head, you’ll negotiate against yourself the first time someone pushes back. Written down and signed, they hold.
Your pricing can grow with you. But it has to start somewhere real — on paper.
